Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is the latest addition to director Atlee’s blockbuster streak. It is now official that this action saga becomes the biggest opening day collection in Bollywood with a whopping 129.6 crores by surpassing SRK’s ‘Pathaan’. Top celebrities and film fraternity are heaping praise on the movie and the makers.
The master storyteller SS Rajamouli took to Twitter today and congratulated King Khan and Atlee for the massive opening. His tweet read, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office… What an earth-shattering opening… Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success…:)” (sic).
In his reply, Shah Rukh Khan humbly requested Rajamouli to watch the movie and tell him if he can be a mass hero too after thanking him. Meanwhile, Atlee responded to the tweet by writing, “So happy to hear from one of my greatest inspirations, thank you for your kind words sirrr!! This has now given me the strength to do even more. Love you sir Coming soon to get ur blessings love u sir ur a pure heart ” (sic).
This conversation is now going viral on the internet. Jawan is a vigilante masala entertainer with SRK, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and others in the star cast. Anirudh scored music for the biggie with visuals by GK Vishnu and editing by Ruben. The film is now running in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
