‘Ayalaan’ is a prestigious project in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. The alien sci-fi film has been in production for nearly six years. Finally, the movie is slated to release on Pongal 2024 and the official teaser is out now. The 2-minute video shows a different world which underwent an energy revolution and a climatic change.
Sivakarthikeyan plays a commoner who befriends an alien with amazing powers following the discovery of some pre-historic reserves that are similar to dinosaur eggs. Apart from the alien, the story has many interesting elements like advanced robots, space ships and an alien civilization. Ayalaan seems to be an incredible sci-fi film with a strong message and light humour.
The comedy episodes involving Sivakarthikeyan, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran and the alien is full of heart. The visuals and computer graphics have paid off well and the years of wait might be worthy after all. AR Rahman is so good at scoring for science fiction films and he hits the bullseye as usual in the Ayalaan teaser while Nirav Shah and Ruben did an impressive job in DOP and editing.

R Ravikumar of ‘Indru Netru Naalai’ fame has helmed this sci-fi spectacle produced by 24 AM Studios and Phantom Studios with stunts by the Anbariv duo.
