Not only the Vijay Antony family but the entire film industry and fans were shell shocked when his teenage daughter Meera passed away tragically due to suicide a few weeks back. The leading music composer cum actor surprised many by bouncing back from the tragedy and promoting his just released new film ‘Raththam’.

Meanwhile for the first time since Meera’s passing away her devastated mother Fatima Vijay Antony took to X to write a highly emotional message. “If I’d known u will live only for 16 yrs, I would have just kept u very very close to me,not even shown you to the sun and moon,am drowning and dying with ur thoughts,can’t live without you ,come back to babba and amma.laara keeps waiting for u,love u Thangam”, she wrote. She has also changed her handle name to Fatima Meera Vijay Antony as a tribute to her loving daughter.

Fans are consoling her to stay strong and many have commented that the note has brought tears to them as well. Vijay Antony meanwhile will be holding live concerts in Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Chennai in the month of December.
