The recall affects 29-ounce bags of “Fun Nuggets” produced on September 5, 2023. The affected products have a “Best If Used By” date of September 4, 2024. Consumers in several states including Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin should take note.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall following consumer complaints about the presence of metal in the nuggets. There has been one minor oral injury reported. FSIS has not received any other reports of injuries or illnesses.
