It has been raining updates on Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ‘KH 234’ since yesterday. We saw that the makers unveiled a first look at the film and announced that Dulquer Salmaan is roped in to play a crucial role in the upcoming action saga.
Now, the hot news is that two ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ stars have joined the cast. The team officially announced this afternoon that South Queen Trisha and renowned actor Jayam Ravi are on board for ‘KH 234’, the mega reunion of the ‘Nayakan’ duo. This movie marks Trisha’s third collaboration with Kamal and Mani Ratnam while this is Ravi’s second film with Mani Ratnam.
The film’s title will be revealed with a special promo, coming out today at 5 pm. Isai Puyal AR Rahman will be scoring music for KH 234 while Ravi K Chandran cranks the camera, Sreekar Prasad handles the editing and the Anbariv duo takes care of the stunts. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films, Red Giant Movies and Madras Talkies, the regular shoot will commence next year.
