Captain Vijayakanth, one of the legendary actors of Tamil cinema and a respected politician, is now hospitalised in Chennai. On November 18, he fell ill and was rushed to the MIOT International Hospital. A statement from the hospital said that there is a setback in Captain’s health but his wife reassured fans and supporters that he is fine.
Meanwhile, rumours broke out on the internet that Vijayakanth’s health was getting bad and they went viral. Taking to social media, Captain’s son and wife posted pictures with Vijayakanth from the hospital and asked the people not to believe the rumours. The images are now doing rounds on the internet. Fans and celebrities are praying for his speedy recovery.
Sharing the images, they wrote, “Captain is healthy. Captain will return home in good health and see us all very soon. I kindly request that no one should spread or believe rumours! – Mrs. Premalatha Vijayakanth.” Actors’ union head Nassar, FEFSI head RK Selvamani and others visited Captain Vijayakanth in hospital earlier today and informed the press that he is getting better.
