We all know that Chennai and its surrounding districts have been hugely affected by extreme rains and floods because of Cyclone Michaung. The areas in the OMR region are said to be most affected by the floods as per the reports. Some well-known celebrities are stranded in these regions and are being rescued now.
Actor Vishnu Vishal posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page with images that he was stuck on the terrace of his house in Karapakkam as the water level kept rising. A while ago, he updated that he was rescued by the fire and rescue department and shared the images. Notably, the officials have also rescued Bollywood actor Aamir Khan who was in the same area.
Pictures of Vishnu Vishal and Aamir Khan being rescued are doing rounds on the internet. Meanwhile, actress Aathmika has posted on X that she is also stranded on the terrace in Karapakkam as the water is not draining. She shared a photo and video of the water level there. They are going viral and she is expected to help within a few hours.
