It is a known fact that Cyclone Michaung caused severe flooding and extreme rains, severely damaging Chennai and the surrounding districts. People from other districts are contributing relief materials and funds for the affected lives. Many youngsters are volunteering in rescue activities in the stranded regions.
Notably, celebrities are also actively helping those who suffered because of the cyclone. Actors Shanthnu, Kishen Das and composer Santhosh Narayanan are working to get help to the stranded people while Suriya and Karthi donated 10 lakhs to the CM relief fund, Thalapathy Vijay’s Makkal Iyakkam is helping the people in affected areas while Ajith Kumar offered help to the villa community.
Now, actor Harish Kalyan and his ‘Parking’ movie makers have extended a helping hand in Chennai Floods 2023. Parking is an ego thriller movie starring Harish Kalyan and MS Bhaskar. The film was released last week and got a very good response from the audience and critics alike. It is directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan and produced by KS Sinish & Sudhan Sundaram.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Harish Kaylan posted that he is donating Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief’s fund. Meanwhile, producer Sinish wrote that he and director Ramkumar Balakrishnan decided to give a little of the love they earned through Parking back by donating Rs 2 lakh to the CM relief fund. He added that they were inspired by Suriya and Karthi’s gesture. The two wished for a speedy recovery of the Chennai city. It is now going viral on social media.
