Kavin, the emerging star of Kollywood, is now gearing up for his new film ‘Star’. This project marks the reunion of the ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’ combo – director Elan and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. The makers revealed the first promo of the movie called ‘Photo Album of STAR’ today.
Kavin plays the protagonist who aspires to be a film star and achieves it. The 2-minute video opens with an old-school photo album which says sweet memories. It contains pictures of Kavin with the people in his life. Kavin plays the titular role with actor Lal as his father, Aaditi Pohankar as his love interest, Preity Mukundhan as his fan-turned-lover and Geetha Kailasam as his mother.
The first single of ‘Star’ will be unveiled on December 12, Superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday. The movie is jointly produced by Rise East Productions and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP. With music by Yuvan, the cinematography is handled by Ezhil Arasu K, editing by Pradeep E Ragav with stunts and choreography by Vicky and Sathish Krishnan.
