When is Prabhas’s ‘Salaar Part 2’ coming out?

Rebel Star Prabhas’s ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ landed on the silver screens on December 22. The magnum opus action saga opened to mixed reviews from the audience. However, the film’s rampage at the box office was unstoppable resulting in an unprecedented blockbuster.

‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ is the new film of the ‘KGF’ maker Prashanth Neel, produced by Hombale Films. Set in the fictional dystopian city of Khansaar, the film follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas) and Varadha Raja Mannar (Prithviraj). The film has music scored by Ravi Basrur, cinematography handled by Bhuvan Gowda and editing by Ujwal Kulkarni.

The movie’s producer Vijay Kiragandur revealed exciting details about the sequel in a recent interview. He said, “Salaar Part 2 will be released in 2025 end. Part 1 is just a glimpse and part 2 will have a lot of drama, politics and action. Both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are interested in starting part 2 very soon. The story is ready. Despite a few negative comments, no one complained about the making and scale in part 1.”
