Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s inaugural visit to Ayodhya in 2024 focused on development and cleanliness initiatives. During the visit, he emphasized the importance of Ayodhya being the cleanest and most beautiful, urging officials to implement the ‘Kumbh model’ for cleanliness. The Ram Mandir Trust’s general secretary, Champat Rai, guided Yogi through the newly developed tent city named ‘Teerth Kshetra Puram.’ The Chief Minister inspected various sites, including the tent city, the upcoming water works building at Beniganj-Amaniganj & Panchavati Ashram, and met with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Additionally, Yogi visited Digambar Akhara during his tour.

Ram Mandir Trust general secretary Champat Rai took Yogi on a tour of the tent city developed by the Trust and informed him about the arrangements at ‘Teerth Kshetra Puram’, as the new tent city has been named.
The CM also inspected the tent city, and upcoming water works building at Beniganj-Amaniganj & Panchavati Ashram. Yogi also met Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das at Maniram Das Chhawani and visited Digambar Akhara.
