Excitement sparked among the fans when Superstar Rajinikanth teamed up with ‘Jai Bhim’ director TJ Gnanavel for his 170th film. Titled ‘Vettaiyan’, the highly awaited project kicked off with a huge star cast in October 2023. Now, it is being reported that the film is slated to hit the screens on a big festival date.
Sources tell us that Rajinikanth and Fahad Faasil’s performances will be the talk of the town after the film’s release. If the reports are true, the team is planning a big release for ‘Vettaiyan’ this Diwali. It is said that nearly 85% of the shooting has been completed with only 3 weeks of filming left for Thalaivar’s portions.
The entire shooting will be wrapped up by the end of March. ‘Vettaiyan’ is produced by Lyca with an ensemble star cast comprising Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and others. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music with cinematography by SR Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj.
