J.K. Rowling chastises Sky News for not recognizing Scarlet Blake’s transgender identity.

“I’m so tired of this nonsense,†Rowling tweeted on X (previously Twitter) on Monday, sharing a Sky News post that did not identify Blake as transgender. This individual is not female. These are #NotOurCrimes, Rowling said.

Sky News has been contacted. Blake’s transgender status is mentioned deep in the Comcast-owned news outlet’s sentencing piece. Following the Netflix documentary Don’t F*** With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer about Luka Magnotta, Blake was sentenced to life in prison on Monday for murder.

Blake tormented a cat before blending it. She attacked Jorge Martin Carreno on his way home from Oxford in July 2021. Blake will serve time in a men’s prison. The Chinese killer told her parents she was transsexual at a young age.

Rowling has been active about gender identity issues on X, especially when the Scottish Prison Service announced transgender prisoner guidelines. The standards allow transitional inmates without a history of aggression toward women to be housed in female prisons.

The Harry Potter author wrote: “Trans activists’ outrage when I say incarcerated women shouldn’t be used as validation tools or emotional support for trans-identified male sex offenders is telling and predictable.

“These activists cannot admit that a man who has been convicted of harming women/girls should not be housed with the demographic he is a proven threat to, because if they do, all their arguments (‘no sexual predator would bother pretending to be trans,’ ‘no trans woman has ever harmed a woman in a women’s only space,’ ‘there is no danger in making all single-sex spaces unisex’) are exposed

She added: “If you support placing violent and sexually predatory men in women’s prisons, you are knowingly subjecting those women to fear and, in some proven cases, abuse that many of them have already suffered before incarceration.â€

I’m so sick of this shit. This is not a woman. These are #NotOurCrimes https://t.co/ycjWefLCiw

The trans activist outrage that ensues on here whenever I share my belief that jailed women shouldn’t be used as validation tools or emotional support props for trans-identified male sex offenders is as revealing as it’s predictable.

Such activists can’t bring themselves to…
