Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, head of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries and Asia’s richest man, is pulling out all the stops for the pre-wedding celebrations of his son, Anant Ambani. With a net worth of $114 billion, according to Forbes, Ambani is known for his extravagant parties, and this one is no exception.

Star-Studded Event

The three-day pre-wedding festivities for Anant, 28, and his long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant, 29, are set to begin on Friday in Jamnagar, near Reliance’s main oil refinery in Gujarat. The guest list includes tycoons, celebrities, cricketers, and Bollywood stars, with performances by Rihanna, U.S. magician David Blaine, Arijit Singh, Ajay-Atul, Diljit Dosanjh, and several others.

Unique Experiences

Guests are in for a treat with a range of experiences, including traditional ceremonies, a communal dinner for 51,000 villagers, and a visit to an animal rescue center with the world’s largest elephant hospital. Ambani has directed guests to don “jungle fever” outfits, with the dress code suggesting animal print clothing or Hawaiian shirts.

Guests will visit a rescue centre that Reliance says is home to more than 2,000 animals and has one of the world’s largest elephant hospitals. The dress code is “jungle fever” with guests advised to wear animal print clothing or Hawaiian shirts.

Exclusive Offerings

Return charter jet flights from New Delhi and Mumbai are available, along with pampering services such as hair styling, makeup artists, and Indian wear drapists, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests have been asked to limit their luggage to ensure smooth travel arrangements.

Guests to Anant Ambani’s celebrations are set to savour 500 dishes created by around 100 chefs.

Return charter jet flights from New Delhi and Mumbai are on offer, but guests have been asked to limit themselves to only two luggage items or three suitcases per couple. The document cautions that “if you bring more”, there’s no guarantee it will arrive on the same flight.

Guests have also been asked to be reasonable in their expectations for laundry services.

Legacy of Extravagance

This isn’t the first time Ambani has thrown a lavish celebration. His daughter Isha’s wedding in 2018 was also a grand affair, attended by dignitaries and celebrities from around the world. Ambani’s son Anant is a director at Reliance’s new energy business, while Radhika Merchant is a director at India’s Encore Healthcare.

Mukesh Ambani’s extravagant pre-wedding celebrations for his son Anant are set to be a spectacle to behold, with a star-studded guest list, unique experiences, and exclusive offerings. The festivities are a testament to Ambani’s larger-than-life style and his commitment to creating memorable experiences for his family and friends.
