‘Thangalaan’ is one of the highly awaited movies in Tamil cinema. Starring Chiyaan Vikram in a neven-seen before role, the film is helmed by director Pa Ranjith and it has music by GV Prakash. Touted to be an unapologetic creation, Thangalaan is in post-production now and the release is slated in Summer.
Now, the latest hot news is that Pa Ranjith and GV Prakash are reuniting for a new film by the former’s production banner, Neelam Productions. In an upcoming project bankrolled by Neelam, GV Prakash Kumar is playing the protagonist. This untitled movie will be directed by Ranjith’s assistant, Akira Moses.
This new film also features Shivani Rajashekar, Sreenath Bhasi, Pasupathy, Lingesh and others. The technical team comprises Roopesh Shaji as the cinematographer, Selva RK as the editor, and Jayaragu as the art director. The project commenced shooting with a formal ceremony today. The studio officially announced this on social media.
