Actress Arundhati Nair is now hospitalised in critical condition as she met with a severe accident in Chennai recently. Her family confirmed this on social media. Reportedly, the accident took place on March 14th and she is fighting for her life now. One of the heroine’s friends requested financial help as well.
Arundhati is a well-known actress in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. She has done a handful of films including Vijay Antony’s ‘Saithaan’, Shirish’s ‘Pistha’ and Vidharth’s ‘Aayiram Porkaasugal’. We hear that she was hit by a vehicle on Thursday near the Kovalam bypass in Chennai when she was returning with her brother after a YouTube interview.
Arundhati’s sister Arathy Nair took to Instagram and confirmed the news by sharing, “We felt the need to clarify the news reported in Tamil Nadu’s newspapers and television channels. My sister Arundhathi Nair indeed had an accident three days ago. She is critically injured and fighting for her life while being kept on a ventilator at the Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum.”
