Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated Holi, the festival of colours, with his wife, daughters and grandchildren on Monday. Also, the day has a special connection to the legendary actor’s life. His daughter, Aishwarya, shared pictures from their Holi celebration and also gave away the story behind it.
Aishwarya revealed that it was the day when Shivaji Rao Gaikwad was given the screen name Rajinikanth by the iconic filmmaker, K Balachander. The actor started his career under the name Rajinikanth in 1975 with ‘Apoorva Ragangal’, who eventually became the Superstar of Tamil cinema and one of the biggest icons of Indian cinema.
The images show Rajinikanth playing with his grandchildren. His wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and son-in-law Vishagan were also a part of the celebration.
