BJP’s MP candidate Aparajita Sarangi during the campaign in Bhubaneswar
“People are fighting for me this time. At all places, people regardless of their caste, creed, colour and age are campaigning for me,” asserted Aparajita Sarangi, the BJP’s MP candidate for the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat.
While speaking to media during her campaign at Ananda Ban Park here on Sunday, she said, “I have prepared a report card on the developmental works that I have done in my constituency in the last five years. The report cards are being distributed to people.”
The BJP leader further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again chosen her, giving her another chance to serve the people of Bhubaneswar. “I want to make it clear that I am not fighting elections, but people are fighting for me at all places,” she asserted.
During her visit to the park, she interacted with people and tried to know about the issues. She later danced with people in the park.
The BJP has again nominated Sarangi in the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat where the BJD has fielded senior Congress leader and Jatani MLA Sura Routray’s son Manmath Routray.
Routray was on Saturday seen dancing with people in a park during the campaign.
However, reactions of the BJD and Congress were not received.
