Amidst growing anticipation about H. Vinod helming Thalapathy Vijay’s 69th film, the project is starting to fill in details on the leading lady front. The buzz is that the movie will have a powerful female role, and the team has already initiated discussions with a few front-running actresses for the part. The grapevine calls the list of actresses Tamil stars Trisha and Samantha, together with Bollywood divas Alia Bhatt and Mrinal Thakur.
Trisha, who previously shared the screen space with Vijay in some films, has been in ‘Leo’ and a cameo role in ‘G.O.A.T’.
Samantha has joined Vijay on screen for ‘Theri’, ‘Mersal’, and ‘Kathi’. If things work out well with the above cast, this would be Alia Bhatt and Mrinal Thakur’s first movie with Vijay. Though all the above ladies are confirmed for the movie, there is one surprising factor for fans: Nayanthara is not on the list of actors being looked at to act in this movie.
