The film industry is in shock over the death of the young music composer, Praveen Kumar. The 28-year-old breathed his last on Thursday (May 2) at 06.30 AM after a prolonged illness. He has composed music for films like ‘Raakadhan’, ‘Methagu’, ‘Kakkan’, ‘Raayar Parambarai’ and ‘Bumper’.
It is reported that Praveen Kumar was admitted to a private hospital a few weeks ago for kidney problems. They shifted him to the Omandur GH recently where he passed away. The film fraternity and fans are mourning his death now. The funeral is expected to take place today at his house in his native place Thanjavur.
His song, ‘Thamizhukku Amudhendru Per’, from the movie ‘Methagu’ was highly acclaimed by fans and music lovers. His death left the film industry sad.
