Since its promotional trailer was released recently, Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie, “Coolie,” has been creating a lot of buzz. A message from music legend Ilayaraja to Sun Pictures, the film’s production firm, has caused debate among the audience, though. Ilayaraja had worries over the song “Va va pakkam vaa” in particular being used without permission in the movie.

Star of “Coolie,” Superstar Rajinikanth, responded quite diplomatically, that the producer and the music director should handle the issue.

With music by Anirudh and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Coolie’ is much awaited by fans. Shooting on the movie is scheduled to start in June despite the legal dispute. The film is much anticipated by followers of Rajinikanth, particularly after the eye-catching sequences shown in the teaser.
