The long-awaited biggie, ‘Indian 2’ starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, was entirely wrapped up this year. The movie team unveiled twin updates to the fans yesterday. They announced that ‘Indian 2’ is coming to cinemas on 12th July and the first single will be launched on May 22nd.
A new poster featuring a silhouette shot of a man riding on a horse was revealed. The film is set to be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Anirudh is composing the musical score for ‘Indian 2’. Kamal Haasan will reprise the role of Senapathy, a freedom fighter turned vigilante, in this sequel to the 1996 blockbuster.
The movie has an ensemble star cast including Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Kalidas Jayaram and others. Ravi Varman and R. Rathnavelu handled the cinematography while Sreekar Prasad took care of the editing and Muthuraj did the art direction.
