With the receipt of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, Chris Hemsworth commemorated a significant accomplishment. He didn’t brandish a hammer, unlike his legendary Thor persona, and instead his Avengers co-stars teased him lightly.

At the ceremony was Robert Downey Jr., better known as Iron Man. He asked their super hero team what they thought about Hemsworth before he came.

“I asked his fellow Avengers to characterize Chris Hemsworth in three words,” Downey said to the assembled audience. “‘Absurdly annoyingly amazing,’ said Jeremy Renner. ‘Friend from work,’ Mark Ruffalo called him. ‘Sensitive leading lady’ by Scarlett Johansson was spot on.

But Chris Evans said the funniest thing. As he said, “Captain America calls him ‘Second best Chris,'” the audience laughed.

“Hollywood star recipient,” was one of the three poignant words that Downey himself selected. Then, when Hemsworth thanked the two actors, they gave each other a big hug.
