CHENNAI: BJP state president
K Annamalai
on Thursday called politicians in Tamil Nadu as “devils” and said he would destroy them one by one.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai,
Annamalai
said, “There are several
devils
in Tamil Nadu. These devils have prevented Tamil Nadu’s growth in the last 70 years. I cannot destroy all devils together. I will deal with them one by one.”
He said this while responding to a question on
Congress
and
AIADMK
.
Annamalai said several senior Congress functionaries, from traditional Congress families, had called him and thanked for bringing out the ‘truth’ about Tamil Nadu Congress president K Selvaperunthagai.
He condemned the arrest of Naam Tamilar Katchi functionary ‘Sattai’ Durumurugan for his speech criticising chief minister M K Stalin. He said arresting ‘Sattai’ Duraimurugan repeatedly was not fair.
“Police should show their action on rowdies who publicly murder people. Instead of doing it, they are focusing on ‘Satta’ Duraimurugan repeatedly,” said Annamalai.
Annamalai criticised state police by saying that a section of police officials functioned on the commands of the DMK. He added that people were watching them and would teach them a fitting lesson.
Earlier, Annamalai paid respects to freedom fighter Alagumuthu Kone on his birth anniversary. He demanded that the state include Alagumuthu Kone in school curriculum.
