Dhanush has reunited with director Anand L Rai and music maestro AR Rahman for ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ following their successful collaboration in the 2013 blockbuster ‘Raanjhaanaa’. Earlier reports suggested that Kiara Advani was in talks to star opposite Dhanush in this major project, but it has now been confirmed that Kiara is not part of the movie.
According to recent developments, the creators of the film have roped in the sensational actress Tripti Dimri as the female lead. She is renowned for her role in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal,’ which fetched over 900 crores at the box office. However, an official confirmation is awaited in this regard. The team is currently finalising the rest of the cast and crew.
The filming for the project is slated to commence in October or November 2024. The team plans to shoot the entire movie within two months, opting for a single stretch schedule in Varanasi and various other locations in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently shooting for ‘Kubera,’ alongside Nagarjuna and Rashmika under Sekhar Kammula’s direction.
