Powerhouse actor Prithviraj Sukumaran delivered the biggest film of his career, ‘Aadujeevitham,’ earlier this year. Adapted from the globally acclaimed 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name, this project was helmed by director Blessy, who worked on it for over a decade. Despite facing numerous challenges, the film was released to positive reviews and grossed more than 160 crores at the box office.
‘Aadujeevitham’ has become one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. However, its OTT release has been eagerly anticipated by fans since its theatrical debut. After months of waiting, the celebrated blockbuster is finally set to premiere on Netflix on July 19, as officially announced by the streaming giant on social media today. This announcement is making waves over the internet today. This survival drama showcases Prithviraj Sukumaran in a career-defining performance, seamlessly blending rich storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and a mesmerizing score by AR Rahman.
Based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer, ‘Aadujeevitham’ depicts the harrowing experiences of thousands of Indians who were forced into slavery as goatherds on secluded farms in the Saudi Arabian deserts. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul in lead roles, with Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by the legendary Isai Puyal AR Rahman.
