The new Commissioner for Salem Corporation, Ranjeet Singh, assumed office on Thursday.
Mr. Ranjeet Singh replaced S. Balachander, who was posted as Commissioner of Tambaram Corporation. Mr. Ranjeet earlier served as the project officer of the District Rural Development Agency in Nagapattinam district. On Thursday, he planted a sapling on the Corporation office premises.
