Salman Khan is a huge Bollywood superstar who is constantly in the limelight for one or the other reasons. From throwing a birthday bash for his rumoured girlfriend Lulia Vantur to his statement to police regarding firing at his house by the Bishnoi group, the actor makes it to the headlines now and then for multiple reasons.
He is often appreciated for his organization Being Human which works for the betterment of humanity. Many times Salman Khan has donated or helped poor and needy people and those requiring medical help but has never boasted about it. Almost 14 years ago Bhaijan offered his big help to a young girl Pooja suffering from a cancerous tumour. In 2010, there was a strong buzz that Salman Khan was the first Indian bone marrow donor who saved the life of Pooja with his good act.
She was in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant and as a part of his commitment made to the Marrow Donor Registry, India he came forward to donate his bone marrow. While other members of his football team who had also committed to this organization backed out Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz fulfilled their promise to Dr. Sunil Parekh of MDRI.

Work-wise Salman Khan is currently being a bit choosey after the last few of his movies were big flops. Even Tiger 3 released in the previous year underperformed which is why now he is doing only projects with good storylines with renowned directors. Next, he will be seen in Sikandar which will be directed by A.R. Murugadoss with Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
He was also supposed to do The Bull with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions but now reports are adrift that the movie has been shelved as the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director is planning new projects with entirely different storylines to be produced under his banner.
