tvN’s “Serendipity’s Embrace” drops exciting previews for tonight’s episode! Based on a popular webtoon, it follows young people finding true love and dreams after reuniting with their first love from a decade ago.

Kim So Hyun

stars as Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer afraid of love, who undergoes a change after meeting Kang Hoo Young (

Chae Jong Hyeop

), her past witness.

Yun Ji On

plays Hong Joo’s ex, Bang Joon Ho. In the previous episode, Kang Hoo Young finally confessed his feelings to Lee Hong Joo, despite her attempts to push him away. With Hoo Young deciding not to return to the States and Hong Joo agreeing to work with Bang Joon Ho, the evolving dynamics among them have become increasingly intriguing.
The newly released stills highlight the much-anticipated confrontation among the trio. Lee Hong Joo is seen stopping an angry Kang Hoo Young, while Bang Joon Ho stands at the end of their icy stares, looking confused and tearful at the sight of Hong Joo and Hoo Young together. Kang Hoo Young appears wary, while Hong Joo’s expression reveals her inner turmoil.
In another image, Bang Joon Ho is seen reading letters from Lee Hong Joo, lost in thought as he reminisces about their past. His gaze reflects his lingering feelings for Hong Joo. What could be the reason behind Joon Ho’s return after leaving Hong Joo heartbroken?

The production team teased, “In today’s episode, Joon Ho’s appearance and straightforward advances will act as a turning point in the relationship of Hong Joo and Hoo Young, who were growing closer. Please stay tuned to see how Hong Joo responds to Joon Ho’s tears.”
The next episode of “Serendipity’s Embrace” will be aired on July 30 at 8:40 p.m. KST.
