On Tuesday, Sun Pictures announced that the star-studded cast of the much-anticipated Superstar Rajinikanth film “Coolie” will be revealed daily. Following yesterday’s introduction of Soubin Shahir, known for his role in “Manjummel Boys,” as part of the ensemble, today’s announcement has added another major name to the roster.
The latest update reveals that legendary Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni will be joining the film as the character Simon. The new poster featuring Nagarjuna exudes a powerful presence and has quickly gained traction on social media. The production of “Coolie” is currently underway in Vizag, with Lokesh Kanagaraj at the helm as both writer and director of this mega-action movie.
“Coolie” boasts a strong technical team, including Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer, Girish Gangadharan as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj as the editor, Sathees Kumar as the art director, and the Anbariv duo handling stunt choreography. The film is expected to be released worldwide in the summer of 2025.
