Red Magic just announced its new gaming tablet, dubbed Nova, which succeeds the Red Magic Tablet from last year. And just like its predecessor, the new device packs the most capable chip currently on the market.
The new Nova tablet runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (the AC version also know as Leading version with the higher-clocked 3.4 GHz main Cortex-X4 core) paired with 12 GB/256 GB, 16 GB/512 GB or 24 GB/1 TB memory configurations.
The LCD measures 10.9″ in diagonal, offers 2,880 x 1,800px resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for up to 144 Hz refresh rate. Тhe tablet also features super-resolution tech for Genshin Impact to increase visual fidelity.
The system is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery, which is a lot for a 10.9-inch tablet. The battery supports up to 120W charging, allowing it to recharge to 50% in just 15 minutes, while a full charge should take less than 45 minutes.
You get a 20 MP front-facing camera and a 50 MP shooter at the rear.
The Red Magic Nova elevates the gaming experience with its 4-array speaker system and large x-axis linear vibration motor for crisp and precise feedback. It offers special features in Peace Elite, Asphalt 9, PUBG Mobile and Knives Out.
To keep the powerful hardware running smoothly, Red Magic designed a 9-layer passive cooling solution along with its active cooling fan running at 20,000 RPM.
The iconic semi-transparent design is now available on the Nova tablet, too. The device features aluminum, glass and RGB lighting. The available colorways are Cyclone and Snowfall.
The tablet is currently only available in China but will soon be released to other markets as well. The entry-level 12 GB/256 GB option is CNY 3,999 ($565), the 16 GB/512 GB trim is CNY 4,499 ($635), and the top-tier 24 GB/1 TB model is CNY 5,599 ($790).
