Vijay announces the new date of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s first conference in an official statement

The first state conference of Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, initially scheduled for September 23 in Vikravandi, Villupuram, has been postponed due to challenges in securing police permission for the venue. In an official statement released today, the party announced the new date, October 27, for the much-anticipated event. The statement says:

“My dear comrades who reside in my heart,

Since the day we introduced the flag of Tamil Nadu Makkal Victory Kazhagam, our political journey has expanded, fueled by the ideas of our party members and the overwhelming love and support from the people of Tamil Nadu.

During the flag-hoisting ceremony, I promised to announce the date for our first state conference. With great joy, I am happy to announce that the first state conference of Tamil Nadu Makkal Victory Kazhagam, where we will unveil our party’s leaders, policies, and action plans, will be held on October 27, 2024, at 4 PM in V.Salai village, near Vikravandi in the Villupuram district.

This conference will be a grand political celebration, during which we will proclaim the guiding principles and goals that will guide us forward. Preparations for the event have already begun, and ground-level work for the conference will commence soon.

Let us build a strong political pathway from this conference! As a son of Tamil soil, I humbly seek the support and blessings of the people of Tamil Nadu to ensure the success of our first state conference in every way. See you all soon! Let’s emerge victorious!”
