In a bid to implement the National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020), the Odisha government reconstituted a special Task Force on Thursday.
As many as 13 members from different departments have been included in the Task Force. The Development Commissioner has been appointed as the Chairman of the Task Force.
Principal Secretaries of School and Mass Education Department, ST and SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, PR and DW Department, Finance Department, W and CD Department, Skill Development and TE Department, Sports and Youth Services Department and some other officials have been included in the Task Force.
The school and Mass Education Department of the Odisha Government issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.
“In a partial modification to the Department notification No.13118, dtd: 23.09.2020 on National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP-2020) approved by the government of India, Ministry of Education, after careful consideration, Government have been pleased to reconstitute the Task Force under the chairmanship DC-cum-ACS to suggest the measures to be taken up for implementation of NEP-2020 in the State of Odisha,” read the notification.
