Renowned music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), celebrated for his chart-topping tracks in Tamil and Telugu cinema, has addressed rumours about his unexpected exit from two high-profile projects: Ajith Kumar’s “Good Bad Ugly” and Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2”.
Speculations had been rife that DSP parted ways with these projects after composing the songs due to alleged differences with producers Mythri Movie Makers. Yesterday, DSP candidly addressed the controversy during the Pushpa 2 promotional event in Chennai.
Speaking on stage, he said, “Producer Ravi sir, you’ve been blaming me, saying I didn’t deliver the songs or background score on time. I know you love me. Where there is love, there are complaints as well. But I think you have more complaints about me than love.” This statement, delivered with a mix of humour and honesty, has gone viral, causing a stir.
Meanwhile, reports confirm that the background score for “Pushpa 2” will now be composed by Sam CS, while GV Prakash has been brought on board to create the background score for “Good Bad Ugly”. Despite DSP’s departure, his songs for both films remain intact, continuing to fuel excitement among audiences.
