The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has appealed to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to postpone the Group-II exam of the Telangana Public Service Commission scheduled on December 15 and 16 considering its clash with the RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) exam being held on the same day (December 15).

In a statement, party leader Dasoju Sravan said on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) that it is customary and crucial for any government to keep aside rigidity and exhibit compassion in resolving the pressing issue of overlapping employment notifications and exam schedules. The clash between the RRB exam and the Group-II exam should have been anticipated by the TGPSC.

However, it has left over 6,000 aspirants in a state of despair, forcing them to make an unfair and heartbreaking choice between the two opportunities for which they have worked tirelessly, he said. “We request you to postpone the Group-II exam to uphold fairness and justice for the aspirants and do not compel the innocent youth to endure the agony of seeking judicial intervention for relief”, Mr. Sravan said.

A small yet impactful decision of the government taken with empathy and foresight would stand as a testament to governance with humanity and help the aspirants make their dreams a reality and secure a brighter future, he said.
