The movie ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’, starring Ajith and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has grossed approximately ₹118 crore worldwide within the first six days of its release. After surpassing ₹100 crore in global earnings, the film’s box office collection has slowed slightly in the last two days.

Produced by Lyca Productions, ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ features Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Regina, and Aarav in key roles. Music is composed by Anirudh, with cinematography by Om Prakash. Though receiving average reviews, the film has offered Ajith fans a unique cinematic experience beyond traditional mass elements.

Released on February 6, the film earned ₹26 crore in India on its opening day, followed by ₹11 crore on the second day, ₹14 crore on the third day, and ₹14 crore on the fourth day, reaching a total of ₹65 crore in four days in India. On the fifth and sixth days, collections were around ₹3.5 crore per day. In Tamil Nadu alone, it has collected ₹68 crore so far.

Internationally, the film grossed ₹33 crore in the first three days and a total of ₹36 crore in six days. Combining both domestic and overseas revenue, ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ has achieved ₹118 crore globally. The film, inspired by Hollywood’s ‘Breakdown’, reportedly has a total budget of ₹200 crore, with Ajith’s salary estimated between ₹110 crore and ₹120 crore. Final success will be determined by theater revenue, TV, and OTT rights. Though not highly profitable, trade analysts believe it won’t cause significant losses.
