On a day the joint parliamentary committee on
Waqf bill
tabled its report in
Parliament
, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board on Thursday made it clear that the bill is unacceptable to Muslims as the panel’s report has completely neglected the community’s views and sentiments. The board and other influential
Muslim organisations
have urged opposition parties and BJP allies to come forth and oppose the bill. They also warned that if passed, the community will take legal recourse.
