Prabhu Deva, a renowned actor and dancer, is set to perform his first-ever live dance performance on February 22 at YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai, organized by Arun Events.

Prabhu Deva began his career in Tamil cinema as a dancer, blending Bharatanatyam, folk, and western dance styles. His unique choreography gained immense popularity. He later debuted as an actor in the 1989 movie “Indhu” and became a fan favorite through films like “Kadhalan” and “Love Birds.” Notably, his dance performance for the song “Vennilave Vennilave” from “Minsara Kanavu” won him the National Film Award.

Beyond acting and dancing, Prabhu Deva expanded his career into film direction, working in both Tamil and Hindi cinema. Despite his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, he has never performed a live dance show until now. This marks his first-ever live event, set to take place in Chennai.

Speaking about the event, Prabhu Deva mentioned that he never imagined doing such a performance. Unlike movies, where dance sequences involve multiple cuts, a live stage show demands continuous dancing, sometimes up to 8 minutes straight. He has been practicing intensively for the event and promised fans an extraordinary performance that exceeds expectations.

The event will be directed by Harikumar, and Hindu Tamil Thisai has partnered as an associate.
