Director R.K. Selvamani has commented on the controversy surrounding the film ‘Bad Girl’. The movie, produced by Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap, sparked significant debate following the release of its teaser. Many people criticized it on social media, and several celebrities also shared their opinions on the teaser.

Regarding the controversy, R.K. Selvamani stated, “When rice is boiling, some grains may pop out, but that doesn’t mean the rice isn’t cooked. If the teaser of the movie ‘Arangetram’ is released today, it will receive 100 times more criticism. Therefore, judging a movie based solely on its teaser is not fair. Only after watching the full film can one form an opinion. Deciding whether the scenes in the teaser are right or wrong should be done after the movie is released. Criticizing without watching the entire film seems premature to me.”

The film ‘Bad Girl’ is written and directed by Varsha Bharath, who previously worked as an assistant director under Vetrimaaran. The movie features Anjali Sivaraman, Shanthi Priya, Hrithu Haroon, Teejay Arunachalam, Sashank Bomireddy, and Saranya Ravichandran in key roles.
