Actor Kamal Haasan has responded to a question about his character in the film ‘Thug Life’.
At the ‘FICCI Media & Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC)–South Connect 2025’ event in Chennai, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and actor-director Kamal Haasan inaugurated the conference together. During the event, Kamal Haasan was announced as the Chairman of FICCI Media & Entertainment (South).
During a Q&A session, Kamal and actress Trisha answered questions. Kamal was asked whether his character, Rangaraj Sakthivel Nayakkar, was good or bad. He humorously replied, “Should I go back and ask Mani Ratnam? What answer can I give when you summarize the entire story before editing is done? Even if you watch the film, you won’t get a definite answer. The character has both good and bad traits.”
Kamal Haasan plays the role of Rangaraj Sakthivel Nayakkar in ‘Thug Life,’ directed by Mani Ratnam. The film also stars Simbu, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and others. It is co-produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
