The shooting of the movie ‘Sardar 2’ in Mysuru was canceled after actor Karthi sustained a leg injury.
After completing an intense action sequence in Chennai, the ‘Sardar 2’ team moved to Mysuru for additional scenes. The shoot was scheduled until March 7. However, during the filming, Karthi met with a minor accident and injured his leg. Due to this, the shoot was immediately halted.
Karthi was given immediate medical attention. Doctors confirmed that the injury was not severe but advised him to take a mandatory one-week rest. Consequently, the shooting was completely canceled, and the crew returned to Chennai.
‘Sardar 2’ is directed by Mithran and produced by Prince Pictures. The film stars Karthi, S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ashika Ranganath, Malavika Mohanan, and Rajisha Vijayan. George Williams is handling cinematography, and Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music.
