The works for the movie ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ are set to begin with a grand pooja ceremony. Superstar Rajinikanth has extended his wishes for the project.
After completing ‘Aranmanai 4,’ director Sundar C’s next film has been a topic of speculation. Reports have suggested names like Karthi, Vishal, and even an untitled Hindi movie. However, it has now been confirmed that Sundar C will be directing ‘Mookuthi Amman 2.’
The film is being jointly produced by Vels Film International, Rowdy Pictures, and Avni Cine Max. Nayanthara has been confirmed as the lead actress. Unlike the first part, this sequel is planned to be made on a grand scale by Vels Film International.
Vels Film International’s producer Ishari K. Ganesh met Rajinikanth to receive his blessings for the film, and a video of their meeting has surfaced online.
The pooja ceremony will take place in Chennai on March 6 in a grand manner, with filming scheduled to begin on March 15. The full cast, apart from Nayanthara, is yet to be announced. Hiphop Tamizha will compose the music for the film.
