Thalapathy Vijay, who recently held Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s inaugural conference with a powerful speech, is now shifting gears back to the film industry. His speech has ignited major political discussions, while he has earlier wrapped up the first schedule of his next project, “Thalapathy 69”.
According to sources, Vijay is set to resume shooting for “Thalapathy 69” with the next schedule commencing on November 4, focusing on pivotal talkie portions. Filming is expected to conclude by April 2025, keeping the project on track for its scheduled October release. Following the film’s completion, Vijay is anticipated to channel his efforts into his political work, building momentum ahead of the 2026 elections.
Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the film boasts an impressive ensemble, including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, “Thalapathy 69” promises to be a dynamic addition to Vijay’s repertoire, blending high-stakes drama both on and off-screen.
