The water level in Bhavanisagar dam is nearing 98 feet against the full reservoir level (FRL) of 105 feet on Tuesday.
An official at the Water Resources Department said that at 12 noon, the water level stood at 97.97 feet while the inflow was 2,722 cusecs. The storage was 27.16 tmc ft against the capacity of 32.80 tmc ft. The discharge stood at 500 cusecs into the Lower Bhavani Project canal, the official added.
