Jo Morant of Memphis Grizzlies has been suspended for two games. This came after Morant’s alleged action during an Instagram live on Saturday came under NBA probe.

Instagram Live videos purportedly show Morant was posing with a gun at an alleged strip club. The live videos, which were deleted but made way to social media. The Instagram live was reportedly done after Memphis Grizzlies lost to Denver Nuggets 113-97 on Friday night. Morant scored 27 points and had 10 assists.

NBA spokesperson Mike Bass said that the authority was aware of Morant’s social media post and an investigation has been initiated.

Morant has issued an apology through statement released by his agent Jim Tanner. In the statement, Morant has take responsibility for his actions. He has apologized to city of Memphis, Grizzlies organization, family, teammates, coaches, fans, as per the statement. He said that he would learn better methods to deal with stress, the statement reads.

Memphis Grizzlies are scheduled play Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday and Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
