We broke the news to you recently that Jayam Ravi has signed on to play the lead role in a new movie directed by popular female filmmaker Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. The pooja of the film tentatively titled ‘JR33’ was held in Chennai today and the shooting will reportedly start from tomorrow, August 21st.
As reported by us earlier to you Nithya Menen is the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi in and this will be the first time that the duo are teaming up on screen. Sources say that ‘JR33′ will be a mature romance film much like ’96’ and ‘Thiruchitrambalam.
The film is being produced by Red Giant Movies with A.R. Rahman composing the music. Jayam Ravi has already finished acting in ‘Siren’ costarring Keerthy Suresh and is currently shooting for ‘Genie’ with Krithi Shetty. He will soon resume shooting for ‘Jana Gana Mana’ directed by Ahmed while ‘Iraivan’ by the same director costarring Ravi and Nayanthara is gearing up for release soon.
