NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 8.54 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 6.37 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.86 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 3.45 crore), IFCI(number of shares traded: 2.22 crore), Central Bank(number of shares traded: 2.03 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.83 crore), NTPC(number of shares traded: 1.83 crore), HFCL(number of shares traded: 1.75 crore) and South Indian Bnk(number of shares traded: 1.73 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:44AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 64.85 points up at 19588.4, while BSE Sensex was up 177.58 points at 65685.9 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd.(up 5.10 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.87 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.34 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 2.23 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
