Thalapathy Vijay’s next movie tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 68’ is all set to be launched formally tomorrow October 2nd and the shooting will reportedly commence from the fourth of this month. The film directed by Venkat Prabhu has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced on a very large scale by AGS Productions.
We already reported that Vijay will play the dual roles of father and son in this film and Sneha and Priyanka Mohan will play the respective pairs. Apart from that, it was also said that a few big names including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva and Aravind Swamy are playing important characters.
Now the latest report is that young actress Meenakshi Chaudhary who won the title of Femina Miss India 2018, is also on board. The pretty actress has already starred in a few Hindi and Telugu films and made her Tamil debut in Vijay Antony’s ‘Kolai’ in which the entire story revolved around her.
Meenakshi also bagged the much coveted heroine role in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Guntur Kaaram’. Earlier Pooja Hegde was attached to the project but was replaced by Meenakshi whose market is on a steady rise in the South now.
The involvement of Meenakshi Chaudhury in ‘Thalapathy 68’ and the rest of the cast and crew details will be announced officially in the next forty eight hours max. Stay tuned.
