Rashmika Mandanna is one of the top actresses in the country today. A shocking video surfaced today showing the 26-year-old actress in a swimsuit. It was an AI morphed clip and this created a huge stir among the fans and celebrities. Fans confirmed that the video was edited using the Deep Fake technology and condemned this act.

We already brought to you that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to social media and denoted that strong legal actions are required against such fake videos. Now, the young actress has written an emotional post reacting to this issue on her social media page. She tagged cyber crime police departments in her post and it is going viral now.

Rashmika Mandanna’s post read, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused. Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft.”

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna has ‘Animal’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and the film is aiming for a grand release in December. She also has the much-awaited sequel of ‘Pushpa’ with Allu Arjun and the multi-lingual movie ‘Rainbow’ lead by herself. The National Crush is reportedly pairing up with Shahid Kapoor for an upcoming film.
