Manikandan is a talented young actor who captivated the fans with his performances in ‘Jai Bhim’ and ‘Good Night’. The latter became a super hit both commercially and critically. We already broke to you that he teamed up with the ‘Good Night’ makers (Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment) again for a new romantic film.
Now, the title and first look of this movie has been revealed. This project is Manikandan’s next and it is titled ‘Lover’. The first-look poster shows the protagonist sitting with a cigarette in his hand in a clumsy room covered by booze and junk. Looks like, he’s suffering over a bad breakup. The film is written and directed by the newcomer Prabhuram Vyas. Lover comes to cinemas on Valentine’s day 2024.
‘Lover’ also stars Sri Gouri Priya of ‘Modern Love Chennai’ fame and Kanna Ravi of ‘Kaithi’ fame. The technical team comprises Sean Roldan as the music composer, Shreyas Krishna as the cinematographer, Barath Vikraman as the editor and Raj Kamal as the art director. The shooting started in August and was wrapped up earlier this month.
